Current Enrollment Questions
We highly recommend that you continue to pursue the completion of your course(s) and encourage you to seek support from instructors, counselors as well as utilize the free online tutoring to ensure your success. However, we are aware and understand that you may not be able to continue to pursue your coursework at this time and will need to withdraw.

At this time, Palomar College is working in accordance with the California Community College Chancellor’s Office, as new updates in legislation and state-wide regulations are received daily. Please continue to visit this page for additional updates pertaining to the Palomar Promise program. In addition, we encourage you to check your Palomar email frequently for updates.
Palomar Promise offers the opportunity for confirmed Promise students to petition Promise eligibility determinations in the event of extraordinary circumstances (i.e. COVID-19, medical). Detailed instructions regarding the Promise Petition process will be available towards the end of spring semester. Students are encouraged to consult with the counseling and financial aid offices prior to dropping a class.
We highly recommend that you continue to pursue the completion of your course(s). We highly recommend that you reach out to your instructors (email, canvas, online class meetings) and share your concerns, they may be able to offer additional support and resources that can assist you. We also encourage you to meet with a counselor before you make any changes to your schedule to understand the potential impacts on your education plan, completion and/or financial aid.

Counseling
At this time, we will not be offering in-person Counseling Appointments. Students are being offered the option of meeting with a counselor via Zoom (video-conference) or telephone.
If would like to schedule an appointment with a counselor, please contact our office at 760-744-1150, ext. 3931. When calling us, please be prepared to provide your full name, SID and whether you prefer a telephone or Zoom (online appointment).

Tutoring Support
Palomar College offers online tutoring through Net Tutor; students access online tutoring through Canvas.
Tutoring is offered in the areas of accounting, business, computer science and information technology (CSIT), English, ESL, math, science and STEM, Spanish, and statistics.
Click on this link to enroll in the Canvas Online Tutoring course where you will have access to all of our tutors. This service is free to all Palomar students. Once you enroll in the course, you will be able to access the course and our tutors from your Canvas Dashboard.

Palomar Bookstore Fall Term Rental Returns Due: Monday, December 21st, 2020
- You may return your rentals to the San Marcos location via Curbside Pickup/Drop-off during Curbside Pickup/Drop-off Hours or ship them back at your expense using the carrier of your choice.
- Curbside Pickup/Drop-off is available during Curbside Pickup/Drop-off Hours. Have you Name, Phone Number, Email Address & Patron ID ready when you arrive.
- If you ship to Bookstore at your expense, print your Return Slip from your Rental Account and ship the rental books with the slip to: Palomar Bookstore, Attn: Rental Return, 1140 West Mission Road, San Marcos, CA 92069

FREE GROUND SHIPPING: This offer applies to all online orders with no minimum purchase and includes course materials, supplies, apparel, technology and more. RENTAL RETURN LABELS: If you rented a book for the Spring semester, we have free shipping return labels you can access. We are also extending the non-return period without penalty for an additional 15 days past the current Spring 2020 term due date of May 26, 2020. This applies to all rental patrons, whether you rented in-store or online. Free shipping labels must be accessed on or before May 26th.
