The impact of the Palomar Promise begins with individual students, but the program is designed to support the needs of our North County region by:

• Increasing the college-going rate of local high school graduates by providing access and affordability
• Increasing student retention from freshman to sophomore year by establishing clear academic and career pathways
• Increasing college graduation and transfer rates by providing targeted academic, career, and financial support services and requiring students to enroll full-time
• Increasing rates of successful graduation and transfer among at-risk and traditionally underserved students by providing targeted counseling support
• Strengthening our regional workforce by providing students with high-quality academic and career training programs
