You received a college email address upon admission to Palomar College. You can find your email address on the Welcome tab in your MyPalomar account.
When accessing your email, type your full email address (username@student.palomar.edu) to login. Your password is the same password that you use to access MyPalomar.

Return to Campus - Vaccination
Effective May 31, proof of full COVID-19 vaccination is no longer required for students and employees to be onsite at the main campus or education centers. Students no longer need to submit proof of full COVID-19 vaccination to register for onsite courses. However, Palomar College continues to encourage full COVID-19 vaccination for students and employees.
No, you are not allowed to ask a student or employee if they have been vaccinated, as this is medically confidential information.

Current Enrollment Questions
You can add any open course from your MyPalomar account.
The refund of fees are following the standard deadlines. For each of your classes, you can find the “last refund date” in “Class Details within the MyPalomar Class search.

Palomar College offers online tutoring through Palomar Tutors and Net Tutor. Students access online tutoring through the “Online Tutoring” course in Canvas. You must enroll in this Canvas course first. For a video tutorial and additional information/updates, please visit the Tutoring Services webpage for more details.

Palomar College transcripts can be requested online in your MyPalomar student portal.
- Click on the “Student Center” tab.
- Under “My Records and Enrollment”, click on the “Official Transcript” link.
- Follow the instructions on the TranscriptsPlus® order form.

Health & Wellness

The Student Health Center is transitioning to phone appointments whenever necessary. We do not have the capacity to treat or diagnose COVID-19 on campus, but our medical team can answer your questions and provide guidance on where to access appropriate care. Palomar students can access telehealth services by video 24/7 through Rezolve.org at a discounted rate of $10 per visit. For instructions, visit the Student Health Centers’ website.

For Behavioral Health Counseling Services at Palomar College, please call first. Call (760) 891-7531 for scheduling options.
Behavioral Health Counselors remain available during the spring semester. Appointments will transition to telehealth platforms, including phone appointments. Your counselor will discuss these options with you and establish a plan that will help reduce barriers to your mental healthcare including referral to partners in the community for ongoing treatment.

Student Life & Leadership
We will be offering limited online applications and appointments for non-perishable prepackaged food and diapers. Information will be updated as new details become available.
Our Food & Nutrition Center is currently closed. Many community food resources are available for you and your family. Please contact our office, Monday-Friday; 7:30am – 4:00pm, at 760-744-1150 ext. 7540 if you need assistance with finding the best community resources. The ASG and ICC are working remotely and pending new direction from the District, the ASG and ICC may consider a hybrid meeting in which some students may be on campus and others will attend via ZOOM. “Zoom” meeting formats will be used. Virtual activities are under development and will move forward, pending District updates.

Disability Resource Center
Students have the option of meeting with a DRC counselor or other DRC specialist via Zoom or telephone.
New appointment requests are being reviewed on a student by student basis to ensure active students in courses this semester and prospective students are being assisted and supported in a timely manner. The DRC’s Testing Center will be providing onsite test proctoring for eligible DRC students approved for test accommodations and taking onsite classes by appointment with five days’ advance notice. Test proctoring appointments can be made by e-mail at drcproctor@palomar.edu or 760-744-1150, ext. 3939. For online test accommodations, DRC students should e-mail their current DRC-issued Authorized Academic Accommodation Letter for the course and semester to their professor, and remind the professor three days before each quiz/exam to apply the approved extended time to the quiz/exam in Canvas. The ATRC, https://www.palomar.edu/atrc/ is the source of support for professors should assistance by needed extending the quiz/exam time for a DRC student.

Student Athletes
The CCCAA Board of Directors voted that student-athletes who competed in the 2020 spring season will have their season of competition restored, provided they have not quit or been cut from their teams prior to their season being postponed. The NCAA, NAIA and other collegiate governing bodies are currently addressing similar issues and the CCCAA will continue to work with them to help student-athletes who wish to eventually transfer.
Practices outside of regularly scheduled classes are canceled through June 30, 2020. However, all athletes are required to still participate in their ACS classes via distance learning. Athletes should contact their coaches directly for more information on their specific class requirements.
No. All classes will continue through a distance learning format as stated in the release by the school. All assignments must still be completed by appropriate deadlines.
Athletes should contact the Athletic Academic Counselor, Amber Slivick, for direct assistance. Meetings will be held by phone or via Zoom. (Instructions for setting up a meeting with Zoom can be found here.) Student Athletes should also frequently check the Palomar College Website for updated information on further resources.
The facilities are closed as of Mar. 13 2020 and will remain closed indefinitely.

Military Affiliated Students Using VA Education Benefits

Camp Pendleton and Military Affiliated Students
Face-to-face classes on Camp Pendleton are now being offered online for Fall 2021 with the exception of the Academic Skills program. Please use the My Class Finder to view open classes.

Current International Students
We expect to return to the office for the Fall 2021 semester. However, number of people who can be in the office will be limited. Most of the requests can be submitted online by completing the appropriate request forms posted at https://www.palomar.edu/internationalstudents/student-forms-2/ and send to internationalstudents@palomar.edu. We will send you the item requested to your student email account. We also are available to meet you on zoom meetings.
If you completed the Graduation Petition, then your Certificate or Degree will be mailed to your permanent address. The deadlines are Sept 30th for the Fall term, February 28th for the Spring term and June 30th for the Summer session. There is no deadline for CSUGE or IGETC Certification.
Please complete the Last Semester Questionnaire and send it to internationalstudents@palomar.edu. It is very important that you do this, so we can take care of your SEVIS record appropriately.
If you are transferring to another school, please also send a copy of the Acceptance email that you received and the SEVIS Release Request to internationalstudents@palomar.edu.
You can still make an online Counseling appointment. Just email internationalstudents@palomar.edu and tell us what time works for you.
Newly Accepted International Students
New Overseas Students for the Fall 2021 term will be required to enroll in one face to face or hybrid class. About 25% of Fall 2021 classes are being offered online. You can take all of your classes online while you are in your home country or if you are a continuing student that began your classes before March 2020.
Please check with CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) travel advisory at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/from-other-countries.html and find out if your county has any restriction to enter the U.S.
Students from China, Iran, Schengen Area, United Kingdom, Ireland, India, Brazil, and South Africa are exempt from the restriction - 20071733j.pdf (aila.org).

TRiO SSS
