The regular spring semester will resume on March 30th with all instruction online only. No decisions have been made regarding summer and fall semesters.

Yes, instruction will move to a remote method of instruction into April. Please contact your instructor or the department or program’s webpage for specific details as it relates to your course.
Your instructor's email is on the syllabus. Many emails are their first name and last name i.e., John Deere jdeere@Palomar.edu. Instructors will also be in contact with you about changes to your classes; however, they might not know yet themselves. Please be patient. You can also contact them through Canvas.
First and foremost, you are encouraged to stay in your class(es) and see if you can make this new situation work for you. You have already completed a significant amount of the term and we are hoping that you can make this work for you. Please review the below deadline dates and we encourage you to see if you can delay your decision to drop for now to find out if you may be able to work through this. We will accept your drop requests up to the deadline date to process any withdrawals. The link below is an updated Course Drop (Withdrawal with EW and Pass/No Pass Election) Procedure that takes into account the impact of COVID-19.
All students are requested to check their Palomar email account for email communication sent from the President's Office regarding refunds of enrollment fees due to COVID-19 for Fall 2020.
Registration for the Summer 2020 semester will begin April 27. Priority registration appointments will be posted to your MyPalomar account on April 21. Be sure to apply or update your application on CCC Apply on or before April 19 to receive a priority registration appointment.
Registration for the Fall 2020 semester will begin June 4. Priority registration appointments will be posted to your MyPalomar account on May 29. Be sure to apply or update your application on CCC Apply on or before May 28 to receive a priority registration appointment. All registration and online class schedule search dates are subject to change.
All students are requested to check their Palomar email account for email communication sent from the President’s Office regarding pass/no pass (P/NP) procedures. This procedure takes into account the impact of COVID-19. Students who wish to change their grading option from a letter grade (A, B, C, D, F) to pass/no pass (P/NP), must follow the COVID-19 Drop/Withdrawal & P/NP Procedure. Students who decide to switch their grade to P/NP are required to email admissions@palomar.edu using their Palomar student email, and must include their Palomar ID number, course name and section code for the P/NP.
