Indicate the following information on the purchasing requisition:
- List type of service (example: Football “away” game)
- Service trip date
- Original pickup and return location: Palomar College, 1140 W. Mission Road, San Marcos CA 92069 – specific parking lot (example: Staff Lot 1)
- Destination and address
- Scheduled depart time from Palomar College
- Buses need to arrive at Palomar College at least 45 minutes prior to departure time
- Scheduled depart time from Destination
- Buses need to arrive at Destination at least 15 minutes prior to departure time
- List type of bus needed along with:
- Number of passengers
- Bathroom
- Properly license driver
The District is responsible for parking fees, if any.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car
If a Palomar College fleet vehicle is not available, you will be required to submit a purchasing requisition through the PeopleSoft Requisition Creation system. The price structure is different and Facilities Services will provide a Voyager fuel card for outside rentals. Please contact the Facilities Office at extension 2629 prior to your scheduled trip. Receipts for all gas purchases, along with the gasoline credit card, must be returned at the end of each trip. Departments will be charged back for this service.

- Scheduled pickup date and time
- Scheduled return date and time
- Trip location
- Type of vehicle (4-passenger car, 8-passenger van, 12-passenger van, 15-passenger van, etc.)

Rental Agency charges:
- Daily rental fee (taxable)
- Insurance
- Sales Tax

A copy of the invoice for outside rental vehicles will be forwarded to the sponsoring department upon receipt from the rental company. The original will be sent to Fiscal Services/Accounts Payable for processing.
Drivers under the age of 25 are charged an additional amount, which varies by location, to cover the increased exposure. If applicable, these fees are quoted with the total price when searching for a vehicle on their website at www.enterprise.com. This charge is due to the greater number of automobile accidents involving drivers in this age group.
Palomar College approved drivers that do not have a Class B/P license (this federal licensing requirement went into effect on September 20, 2005) cannot rent/drive a 15-passenger van for college business under any circumstances.
