Signage – Employee-of-the-Year Signage

Each year as the spring semester draws to a close, several special committees at Palomar College decide which Administrative Association, CAST and CCE/AFT employees shall receive the “Administrative Association, CAST and CCE/AFT Employees-of-the-Year.”  During the selection process, a large pool of nominees is gradually reduced to a small group of finalists.

The Administrative Association and CAST Employees-of-the-Year selection criteria is based on nominations from all areas of the campus.  These awards, focus on leadership, teamwork, and significant contributions (AP 7175 District Awards).

The Classified Employee-of-the-Year selection criteria is based on nominations from all areas of the campus.  This award, initiated in 1984, focuses on leadership, teamwork, and significant contributions (AP 7175 District Awards).

These awards consist of a designated parking space for one year starting July 1st and ending on June 30th.

 The placement of these signs is coordinated by the Facilities Office, who contacts the winner(s) to coordinate the location of their parking signage.
