In this class students will learn how to construct and use wood-bodied hand planes that are useful for both general and specialized woodworking tasks. Both commercial and student-made blades can be used for the tools made in this class. In addition, students will learn how to refurbish planes, tune them for peak performance and use them with bench accessories to make them even more useful.
