The TEAS exam is required to enter the nursing program.  All of the information on the TEAS exam can be found at https://www.atitesting.com/.

If you already have information for the TEAS exam and are ready to register to take the TEAS exam online, here is the TEAS exam registration link:

The ATI TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills) Exam is designed specifically to assess a student’s preparedness entering the health science fields.  Studies show a consistent link between a student’s performance on the TEAS and future academic success.

The ATI TEAS exam is comprised of 170 questions set up in a multiple-choice format with four-option answers. Questions are designed to test the basic academic skills you will need to perform in class in the areas of: Reading, Math, Science, and English and Language Usage.

The TEAS exam is available through ATI and can be proctored online.  Palomar College will no longer be offering the exam on the Palomar campus.   If you prefer to take the TEAS exam in person, there are a few schools in the area offering the exam.  That information can be found here:  https://shop.atitesting.com/teas/teas-in-person
