Enroll in an ESL Class

Palomar offers both online and in-person credit and noncredit English as a Second Language (ESL) classes.  In-person classes are available at the main campus in San Marcos and at the education centers in Escondido and Fallbrook.  Online classes are self-paced in Canvas and have optional Zoom sessions.
Students must apply online before registering, which you can do on your own, or you can visit one of our ESL Offices to receive assistance from our ESL staff with the online application.  After you have applied online, you can select the ESL class and level that you would like to take.  You can enroll in classes online or our staff can help you enroll in person at one of our offices listed below.
Note:
If you are a continuing student (i.e. have not had two semesters or more off) you DO NOT need to submit a new application.
—If you are a continuing student and have been taking non-credit classes you MIGHT have to complete the application process if you need to use Canvas or your Palomar email address.
If you are a returning student (i.e. have been gone more than two semesters) you will need to follow the steps above using your Palomar College ID  number to submit a new application.
