ESL SPRING 2024 CLASSES
Priority registration began October 30th
ESL services are now available in person. Our Offices in Escondido, San Marcos, and Fallbrook are open and staff are ready to assist you Monday – Friday in person, over the phone or by Zoom.
San Marcos Office Hours (H-116): Mon – Thurs 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
ESL Tutoring Center Hours (H-118): Mon – Thurs 8:00 am – 1:30 pm and 2:00 – 5:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm (Fridays remote)
San Marcos Computer Lab Hours (H-121): Mon – Fri 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (Fridays remote)
Escondido Office Hours (ESC-610): Mon – Thurs 8:00 am – 7:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am – 1:00 pm (Fridays remote)
Fallbrook ESL Center Office Hours: Mon – Thurs 4:00 – 8:00 pm
*Masks are now RECOMMENDED but not required inside our buildings. Please only come to campus if you are healthy.

Welcome to the English as a Second Language department here at Palomar College. Start here; go anywhere.
With us, you can learn or improve your conversation skills, pronunciation, and academic reading and writing. You can learn English from the beginning or improve the skills you already have. The ESL Department also offers Career Track ESL courses that allow you to gain the specific English skills you need for careers such as Dental Assisting, Office Systems, Cosmetology, and Automotive Engineering. We offer credit and non-credit courses.
You can find ESL courses at the following campuses: San Marcos, Escondido, Fallbrook, and Ramona.
We also offer citizenship courses and courses in the Instituto Nacional para la Educación de los Adultos program.
