Important information will be sent out to Promise students via your official Palomar College email account. Click here for instructions on how to activate and access your student email.
Fall 2018 Balance Due
- For students who do not qualify for the CCPG (formerly known as the BOGW) tuition waiver, please do not be alarmed if you see that you owe fees for Fall 2018 classes. Typically, your Promise fees will be paid closer to the middle of the semester. At that time, any costs covered by Palomar promise will no longer appear on your student account.
- Having a Confirmed Promise Service Indicator will prevent you from getting dropped for non-payment.
Costs Covered by Palomar Promise
- $46 per unit course enrollment fees (up to 19 units; material fees not included)
- Only classes enrolled in by September 4, 2018 will be covered
- Late-start classes are fine but student must be enrolled by September 4, 2018
- Students can add classes later to maintain fulltime enrollment, but these will not be covered by Palomar Promise
- $350 textbook assistance for Fall 2018 and $350 for Spring 2019
- This will be set up as a credit in the campus bookstore
- Only required textbooks are covered
- Only textbooks sold through the Palomar College Bookstore are covered
- Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 parking permit
- Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 Health Fee

- Winter Intersession and Summer courses
- Textbooks for Winter Intersession and Summer courses
- Courses added after September 4, 2018
- Student Center Fee
- Student Rep Fee
- Course Material Fees
- Non-Resident Tuition Fees
View Your Updated Promise Status
- Check your eServices account to view your updated Promise status. Log on to your Student Center, and click the “details” link found below your Promise Student notification. If you have been confirmed as a Palomar Promise student for 2018-19, you will see the following message:
Parking Permits
- If you have been confirmed as a Palomar Promise student, you may pick up your Parking Permit at the Cashier’s Office located on the main campus in the Administrative Services building with a valid photo I.D. Parking permits can be picked up August 6, 2018 through September 4, 2018.
Textbooks
- Promise textbook assistance is $350 for Fall 2018 and $350 for Spring 2019
- Students are eligible to use their textbook award until September 4, 2018 for the Fall 2018
