Library Materials Request Options

You can request circulating materials (books and media) from any Palomar library collection by completing the following form!  We will locate the requested items and contact you to confirm availability within 2 business days of a form submission. You can then pick up your items from the designated library during our hours of operation.

During the week you can also email the Library (library@palomar.edu) for assistance requesting an item.  In addition you can connect with us via the Chat with a Librarian feature for help with the form or answers to questions about the service.

Always check our catalog for availability of an item before you submit a request.

After filling out the form remember to click ‘Submit’.

Materials Request Form

  • Please provide an email address you use regularly.
  • Please provide a phone number you use regularly
  • Type the title of the book or media item you want to borrow.
  • Select the format of the material you are requesting
  • Select the library where the item is located
  • From your catalog search type in the Call number for the item. e.g: E907 .C63 2017 or SM Media E468 .C58 2004
  • Designate where you'd like to pick up the items you are requesting
