• Requests received less than 48 hours before mailout may not be approved. Also, we can only accept check pick-up requests within 7 days of disbursement

• I may be limited to only 1 (one) request to pick up my financial aid or scholarship check per academic year

• If approved, I understand I will be required to pick up my check at the Cashier’s Office on the San Marcos campus (A Building) the following Monday after disbursement. Cashier's Office hours are Monday – Thursday from 8am to 5pm & Friday 8:00am - 2:00pm. A valid government-issued ID will be required to pick up the check.

• I understand that no one else can pick up the check on my behalf.

• I understand it is my responsibility to ensure that my mailing address is current and failure to update it may result in a delay in receiving my financial aid check or the check being lost in the mail

• Mailing address issues need to be resolved before your next Financial Aid disbursement as I may not be considered for a second request to pick up any other financial aid or scholarship checks for the remainder of the academic year

• Please be aware that your check is contingent upon your enrollment status. Any modifications to your enrollment status before the scheduled pick-up date may impact the release of your check.
