Kelly received his B.A. in English Literature from the University of San Diego and his Master's in Library Science from San Jose State University. He has been at Palomar College since 1991, working at both the main campus in San Marcos and at the Ernest J. Allen Library in Escondido. He enjoys surfing and spending time with his children.
