Peer Evaluation: Committee and Student Evaluation Selection

Information for the Evaluee

Three years have passed since your last faculty evaluation, and it’s time for you to be evaluated again. This process has been designed to assist you in evaluating your performance, to recognize and support your areas of excellence, and to identify and address areas for improvement and growth.

Peer Review Committee (PRC) membership

  • PRC Chair
    • Department chair/director or his/her designee (must be a tenured faculty member)
      • If you are currently serving as a Department Chair please note that the designee must be approved by TERB.
  • PRC Second Member
    • Peer (Tenured) faculty choose the second member of their Peer Review Committee (PRC)
      • A permanent faculty member from your department, or a related discipline, selected by you (the Evaluee)

Student Evaluation Selection

Instructional Faculty:
Peer (Tenured) faculty choose the two courses they would like to have evaluated by their students.

Peer (Tenured) Counselors choose from three evaluations options:  1.) 20 student evaluations following one-on-one counseling sessions, 2.) 15 student evaluations following one-on-one counseling sessions AND ONE class that you are teaching, or 3.) Student evaluations administered in TWO classes that you are teaching.

Information Due by end of 2nd week of the semester

Please submit your student evaluation selections and the name of your PRC second member using the following form. Note, you must be logged in to Microsoft Office 365 to submit the form
