Fall 2025 Semester – Important Dates
**Applies to students who have been confirmed for Fall 2025
**Promise textbook assistance in the form of a credit at the Palomar College bookstore will be available beginning Monday, July 21, 2025. The last day to access your Promise textbook funds for Fall 2025 is Friday, December 19, 2025.
- Last day to access Fall 2025 textbook funds for online purchases made via the Palomar College Bookstore: Wednesday, Dec 17, 2025
- Last day to access Fall 2025 textbook funds for in-store purchases made at the Palomar College Bookstore: Friday, Dec 19, 2025
The textbook award is a maximum of $200.00 for Fall 2025 semester and can be used towards books and school supplies, including technology items up to the credit amount provided. Textbook funds can also be used towards the cost of shipping and digital delivery fees. Graduating Promise students may also use the credit to purchase their cap and gown at the Palomar Bookstore.
Important Information:
- Please note you can only use your Promise textbook credit at the Palomar College bookstore.
- Unused Promise book credit does not roll over to the next semester. It must be used by the stated deadlines noted above.
Ordering Your Books via the Palomar College Bookstore Website
When placing your textbook order via the Palomar College Bookstore website, you have two options on retrieving your books:
- Option 1 – Pick up your purchase in-store at the Palomar Bookstore during normal business hours.
- Option 2 – Ship to Home (shipping fees apply)

Ordering Your Books by Visiting the Palomar College Bookstore (In-Store Purchases)
You may use your Palomar Promise Textbook credit at one of the Palomar College Bookstore locations. Please plan to bring a form of identification with you (i.e. drivers license, California ID, school ID). Inform the cashier you are a Palomar Promise student. They will request some form of identification and look up your account to verify you are a Confirmed Promise student with available funds.
