Maintaining Eligibility

In order to maintain eligibility for the Promise program, students must:

  • Enroll and complete a minimum of 12 units per semester (fall and spring)
  • Maintain at least a 2.0 GPA while attending Palomar College
  • Meet with a counselor to establish a student education plan. Promise students must have an abbreviated ed plan by the end of their first semester, and a comprehensive ed plan by the end of their first year.
  • Actively engage in the Promise Program and adhere to the Promise Success Agreement
  • Attend Skillshops and/or approved campus activities each semester
