Palomar Promise Deadlines – Current Students

Deadline Date
Last day to enroll in a minimum of 12 units or units approved by the DRC to be confirmed for Palomar Promise for the Fall 2022 semester . Waitlisted classes do not count towards full-time status. (Monday, August 29, 2022)

*This deadline applies to Promise Year 2 PROSPECTIVE students who were confirmed for spring 2022 and met all academic standards for Year 1.  Prospective YR2 students must have on file their 22-23 official FAFSA or CA Dream Act application with the College and must be enrolled in at least 12 units (or units approved by DRC) for fall 2022 to remain eligible for Palomar Promise for Fall 2022  for their second year by stated deadline date. 

**The Promise Office will conduct weekly eligibility reviews and confirm students each week through August 29. Official confirmation notifications will be sent to the Palomar student email account.  Students who do not meet eligibility requirements by the final deadline will be disqualified from participating in Palomar Promise.

Initial Review - Monday, June 20, 2022

Subsequent Reviews for Eligibility will occur weekly.

Final Review - Monday, August 29, 2022 (for Promise Year 2 Prospective students only)

Last day to use your credit balance at the Palomar College Bookstore  for  books, school supplies, technology including for late-start classes.

For in-store purchases at the Palomar Bookstore: Friday,  Dec 16, 2022

 

Important Deadline Information

  • Students not confirmed for fall 2022 must plan to pay their entire balance or set up a payment plan by the August 18th deadline date to avoid being dropped for non-payment (unless CCPG eligible). If the student is confirmed after paying their fees, their eligible enrollment fees will be refunded to them the week of September 5th. If they schedule a payment plan, please note the $25 plan enrollment fee is non-refundable. This applies to students who have been disqualified from Palomar Promise YR2  who either did not submit a petition OR submitted a petition but it is either pending or has not been approved. This also applies to students who are Year 2 Prospective status.
