- Explore Two Prestigious Colleges: Immerse yourself in campus life as we tour University of California, San Diego and University of San Diego, giving you a firsthand look at academic opportunities and vibrant student communities.
- Feel the Rush at K1 Speed: Channel your inner race car driver as you zoom around the tracks at K1 Speed. This exhilarating, team building activity promises high-speed fun and friendly competition.
- Step back in time and discover the charm of Old Town! Wander through cobblestone streets lined with historic architecture, unique shops and cozy cafes.
- Dive into the Wonders of SeaWorld: Experience the magic of marine life with interactive exhibits and thrilling shows/rides at SeaWorld San Diego. This educational journey will deepen your appreciation for ocean conservation and the incredible creatures that in habit our seas.

This trip is first-come, first-served bases to students who meet all eligibility requirements. Students who have been accepted to participate in this field trip will receive a confirmation notification via their Palomar student email.

To be eligible to participate in this overnight field trip, students must:
- Be a current TRIO SSS or Palomar Promise participant
- Have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA
- Have attended at least 1 Skillshop for the 2024-2025 academic year
- Have a comprehensive Education Plan by the end of March 2025
- Have successfully completed at least 12 units by the end of the 2025 winter intersession.
- Complete, sign and have on file the field trip waiver form
- Attend the mandatory orientation on Monday, April 7, 2025.
This field trip is first-come, first served basis to students who meet the eligibility requirements listed above.
Students who have been selected to participate or have been notified that they are on the waitlist MUST attend a mandatory orientation. The orientation is scheduled on Monday, April 7 at the Teaching & Learning Center on the San Marcos campus. Students may join us in-person or virtually via Zoom. View your confirmation email to locate the link to register for the orientation.
Please review the Release and Agreement to Hold Harmless and Indemnify form. When you complete the field trip form, this liability waiver will be included within that form for you to sign electronically.
Complete the Field Trip Permission & Liability Waiver Form to secure your spot. Spaces are limited, and reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis to students who complete the field trip form and meet the eligibility requirements.
