Palomar College strongly recommends that all Federal Student Loan borrowers create their online loan
servicer account. This will help ensure you can request assistance regarding loan repayment options
including payment deferments, forbearance and borrower-based repayment plans.

• All loan borrowers should have received both email and letter communications from their direct
  loan servicer after receiving their first loan disbursement. If you misplaced this information, you
  can determine who your loan servicer is by accessing your student loan information at
  https://studentaid.gov/ Log in. Then click on the number in the first column next to
  your loan to view loan details. The website for your loan servicer is listed in the section “Current
  ED Servicer.”
