  • See a Transfer Counselor
  • Start General Education, either IGETC or CSU Breadth
  • Start the process of deciding on a
  • transfer major/school.
  • Start Math and English as soon as
  • possible.
  • Submit any AP, IB or Official
  • transcripts to the Records office.
  • Start major prep work ASAP. For
  • UC/CSU go to ASSIST.org*
  • Consider taking COUN 101 – Transfer Success
  • Make Friends at Palomar to help you go through college
  • Visit the College Fair in October
15 – 30 Transferable Units
  • See a Transfer Counselor
  • Identify Transfer Schools
  • Start prep for major. Note that some majors may have high unit major preparation that is required and/or recommended to be completed prior to transfer.

  • The more competitive your GPA, the better your chances of getting into a capped major.

  • Apply for UC Transfer Admission Guarantee – TAG(September)
