IMPORTANT:
Due to the COVID-19 emergency situation affecting colleges/schools, our San Diego County Paramedic Accreditation workshop will be taught through an online platform (ZOOM). Please make sure you are familiar with Zoom and have it downloaded prior to the date of the Zoom workshop. The instructor will reach out to you with more information a week before the workshop date and he/she will send you the ZOOM link to the course. The workshop is an 8-hour course . Payment instructions will be emailed out to you a week prior to the workshop date. Due to the current situation, we are only accepting mailed in checks to our Cashier’s Office at the moment.

The workshop is intended for paramedics who have been originally trained and/or certified outside of San Diego County, including those trained outside of California. The workshop is held at the Palomar College Escondido Education Center. If interested, click on the link below and complete the online application

Prerequisites
Be a currently licensed California Paramedic. Documentation of prior skills testing (including copy of training agency Course Completion Record to State EMS Authority for skills)
Please email the following documents once you apply to Ally Do:
-Valid Photo ID card -Copy of ACLS Card
-Copy of Paramedic License -Copy of “Course Completion Record” from educational institution
Payments are due on the day of the course. You will pay the workshop fee in Student Services and bring your receipt to the EME office when you check in.
FEES
The cost of the workshop is $150.00.
Individual classes can be arranged at a different cost for 1 – 3 students.
A $5.00 parking pass is required to park in the student lot for the day
NOTE
These fees do not include cost for S.D. county accreditation (an additional $60.00 payable at the SDEMS Offices)
Report to the Emergency Medical Education office before 9:00 A.M. on the day of the workshop to allow time for payment and check-in
