The EME department offers our EME 105, 106/106L, and 175/175L classes during the Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters. Each course will have a fast track option available as well. Please make sure that you have applied to become a student and register for your courses on your given registration date, as the classes do tend to fill quickly. Paramedic Academy - 10-month program | Admission into Paramedic program | This program consists of EME: 206, 206L, 207, 207L, 208, 208L, 209, 209L, 210, 211, 212, 215, 220 | The Paramedic Program prepares the student in all elements of prehospital advanced life support. Upon successful completion of the program, the student is eligible to take the State of California EMT-P certification exam, which is the National Registry Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic Exam. |
Paramedic Refresher Course 4 units | Only open to students who have been accepted into the Paramedic Program as a challenge or who were unsuccessful in EME 208/208L, EME 209/209L, EME 210 or EME 215 and require remediation.
