Partnership with Palomar’s Early Childhood Education Lab School

The Child Development & Education Department closely partners with our on-campus Early Childhood Education Lab School (ECELS).
There are lab schools (preschools) on both Palomar’s Main Campus in San Marcos and at Palomar’s Escondido Campus.

CHDV Students are welcome and encouraged to utilize the ECELS to:

Conduct observations* for their CHDV course assignments.
Apply for a paid position working at the ECELS (they can work around your school schedule!)
Enroll their children at the ECELS (some funding may be available to help cover the costs)

*Specific policies and procedures must be followed to observe at the ECELS. Please read the Observations Guidelines webpage and follow the directions carefully!
