Early Childhood Education Lab School (ECELS) Observation Guidelines

Our Palomar College Early Childhood Education Lab Schools serve as a practical student learning environment for our students.  All Child Development (CHDV) students are welcome to observe and complete class assignments at the center.

The centers’ number one priority is the safety of all children, family members, and staff. We ask that you bring the following items with you at the time of your visit. Electronic copies and/or screenshots will be accepted, however, please be aware that internet connect is limited at the San Marcos location so be prepared.

  • Official Picture ID
    • Student Activity Card
    • Driver’s License
  • Signed Statement of Commitment and Confidentiality
  • Class syllabus or course assignment
    • This helps to place students in the appropriate environment.
