Past Events
We host a series of workshops and events that honor the field of early childhood education. Past events included:
- CHDV & EDUC Process Art Workshop
- Participants engaged in hands-on art activities in our Early Childhood Education Lab School
- CHDV Virtual Career Fair
- Academic and career goal advising were held in online break-out rooms for attendees to ask questions.
- Game Night
- A night of no-tech games were introduced and played by all who attended.
- Ukulele Workshop
- Attendees learned the basics of tuning, strumming, and playing simple chords in a fun, supportive environment
- Mindfulness & Self-Compassion
- Attendees were taught mindfulness techniques that can be implemented in the classroom to help students cultivate a positive learning environment.
- Brain Gym
- An interactive training incorporates the physical components of learning through visual, auditory, motor, and stress management skills.
- Fentanyl & Substance Abuse Workshop
- A deep exploration into the fentanyl and substance abuse crisis in teens.
