This space is designed to provide easy access to key resources that support your coursework, fieldwork, and overall success in the Child Development and Education programs at Palomar College. Please refer to this page regularly to ensure you have the most up-to-date information needed throughout your program.

We adhere to the highest standards of safety and protection of all family members and children associated with Palomar College and the Palomar ECELS preschools. The Child Development Department’s Statement of Commitment and Confidentiality is our mission to both maintain and monitor these high standards in the field of child development and education. It is a reminder for all CHDV & EDUC students to keep information gained through our experiences confidential. We ask that all students sign and submit the following form to their instructors each semester.

To observe at the Palomar ECELS preschool, students will need to bring a picture ID, their course syllabus, and show a signed copy of the Statement of Commitment and Confidentiality.
