Mass Grading and Site Utilities North Education Center Project
| Type of Project: | The District is seeking very qualified firms for Mass Grading and Site Utilities on the North Education Center. Following the RFQ process, it is the District’s intent to invite qualified Mass Grading Contractors to bid the project, based upon general experience and similar project experience; experience of proposed staffing; safety record; insurance/bonding capacity; and understanding of and planning for the specific project scope. The project will require deep experience with multiple project stakeholders including the Department of the State Architect, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, and the Army Corps of Engineers. Given the unique location of the project, it also has the potential for biologically, culturally, and historically significant impacts during the Mass Grading operation. Successful respondents to this RFQ will be required to present clear understanding and knowledge of the project scope, and comprehensive plans for scheduling and sequencing to meet the project schedule. |
