Timber Frame & Connex Box Relocation

Type of Project:The Timber Frame & Connex Box Relocation project includes relocation of two (2) timber frame
structure storage buildings located on the San Marcos campus of Palomar College as shown on the campus map
included. Due to the structural nature of these buildings, they are to be picked up in a cradle in their entirety (except for
pre-removal and post-reinstallation of the existing metal roof panels) and relocated via a crane to the stipulated location
as shown in the drawings included the bid documents. Also included in the scope of this work is the craning of three
(3) empty Conex boxes to the future location of the timber frame structures. These three (3) Conex boxes, (boxes 5, 6,
9) will be placed under the timber structures per the schematic diagram included. Prior to relocating the structures, the
Contractor shall clear, grub and perform any necessary grading to create a level site and drill and place concrete
foundations for the structures. The Contractor is also responsible for providing a stamped, survey and stamped
engineered design for the foundations.

"Mandatory" Conference/ Walkthrough:A MANDATORY pre-bid conference shall be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 3:00PM and also on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 10:30AM (bidder must attend one of the conferences), in RS Building-Room 5, on the San Marcos Campus, 1140 W. Mission Road, San Marcos, CA 92069
