Constitution Day commemorates the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution on September 17, 1787. It is a federal observance that recognizes the adoption of the United States Constitution and those who have become U.S. citizens. It is observed annually.
At Palomar College, Constitution Day is hosted by the Financial Aid and Student Affairs Offices, and is held in the Student Union Quad on September 17th, or an adjacent weekday when the 17th falls on a weekend. Free constitution booklets are available to all participants.
