Purpose
The Infrastructure and Sustainability Council identifies, prioritizes, and advocates for the College’s technology and facilities needs and services to ensure that students receive the opportunities and support they need to develop a strong foundation for life-long, resilient learning, career success, and global citizenship. With particular attention to equity, it makes recommendations to the College Council for the strategic direction and implementation of technology, facilities, and sustainability priorities and ensures that these recommendations are consistent with the objectives and recommendations established in the Technology Plan, Facilities Master Plan, and other supporting plans and reports.
Meeting Days/Times
The Infrastructure and Sustainability Council meets on the 1st and 3rd Fridays from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.

Council Goals 2025-26
ISC’s goals for AY 25-26 are to make formal recommendations to College Council for the following topics:
- Hire an outside consultant to work with the IS department in the development of a new Technology Master Plan which supports the District’s Education and Facilities Vision Plans. The Technology Master Plan should include the following:
- Employ the use of surveys and listening sessions of all constituents.
- A sustainable and budgeted technology refresh process.
- Clarification on how Technology is procured and requested (including the PRP process) to ensure it is accessible, secure, and institutionalized for refresh.
- Utilize a college intranet to provide well documented systems and processes (in support of vision plan).
- Facilities assessment and utilization report.
- District Sustainability and Climate Action Plan.
Formal recommendations will include:
- Statement of the problem
- Rationale
- Process/details
- Impact
- Stakeholder engagement
- Next steps
- Support documentation
ISC will work with operational committees in the creation of the formal recommendation.
