Rachel is a registered dietitian and certified lactation educator counselor who has been working in the field of food and nutrition for more than 15 years. Prior to becoming a registered dietitian, Rachel worked as a food scientist in the food and beverage industry. Rachel holds a masters degree in nutrition education from Teachers College at Columbia University in New York City, and completed her dietetic internship at the Veterans Administration Hospital in San Diego. Rachel specializes in pediatric nutrition and currently has a private practice in San Diego. Rachel enjoys spending time outdoors in San Diego and trying out new recipes for her husband and daughter.
