Professor Wasef, is a Registered Dietitian who has taught a variety of nutrition courses at California State University, Los Angeles and Chaffey College. She holds a B.S. in Biochemistry, a B.A. in Chemistry, and an M.S. in Nutritional Science. She has been a contributing writer for SuperKidsNutrition.com and authored presentation material for Tavis Smiley’s Road to Health Conference. She has also written weight-loss curriculum and earned a Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management through the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Some of her previous experience includes weight counseling and nutrition outreach through meal delivery programs for the homebound. Prior to teaching college-level courses, she taught language arts and math to high school students.
