Beginning July 1, 2026, the ECELS will welcome children who are 12 months or older. We will no longer be able to enroll infants younger than 12 months as of that date. To help families plan ahead, here is the age eligibility schedule for children enrolling between January 1, 2026, and July 1, 2026:

• 6 months old by or before January 1, 2026
• 7 months old by or before February 1, 2026
• 8 months old by or before March 1, 2026
• 9 months old by or before April 1, 2026
• 10 months old by or before May 1, 2026
• 11 months old by or before June 1, 2026
• 12 months old by or before July 1, 2026

We understand that this change may require adjustments for some families, and we truly appreciate your partnership as we continue to strengthen our program to best meet the needs of the children we serve. 

If you currently have a child enrolled in our program and would like to add your infant to our internal waitlist, please email Claribel at czorrilla@palomar.edu. When a space becomes available, we first offer enrollment to families on our internal waitlist before turning to the external waitlist.
