The flyer attached will give you more information on the career prospects with this well-rounded degree program. 

Developed in close partnership with more than 50 of our industry partners in the west, our nationally recognized CIM program combines the disciplines of concrete technology with business administration. Our CIM program at Chico State is the only program in the western United States. 

With nearly 100% job placement rate and better than average starting salaries for graduates, this program is designed for students to study the nuances of the evolving concrete industry while learning how to lead in the boardroom thanks to the integration of business administration curriculum. In short, this program equips our students to be industry leaders.

From local to global, the future in Concrete Industry Management is solid.

Cancelled: Career Coffee Hour-PASS AmeriCorps

39 full-time Members will provide prevention/intervention services for 30 identified at-risk youth (3-12 graders) in partnering schools; providing meaningful mentoring relationships 1:1-3, academic assistance, attendance, and behavior interventions. Members will serve individually or in pairs at one of 30 partnering schools in Oceanside, Vista, Valley Center, Escondido, & San Diego; Members receive extensive orientation, ongoing support/coaching, weekly/monthly meetings, attend/serve at events, professional training on topics relevant to service; Full-time only, 11-month commitment, 1700 min hours, serving M-F during school hours (8.5+ hrs/day; some days longer); some weeknight and weekend days. Looking for a mature, motivated, self-starter. Car required with Driver’s license & insurance; Applicants selected required to meet all eligibility requirements and considerations to serve in the program. Member Living Allowance: First Year Member- $15,000, Second Year Member- $17,000. AmeriCorps members that successfully complete a Full-time 1700 hour service term approved through FY 2020 AmeriCorps earn a $6,195 Educational Award. Members may use the education award to pay for current educational expenses at an eligible institution, to repay qualified student loans, or to do both.
