Institutional Effectiveness, Planning, and Fiscal Stewardship Council

Purpose

The Institutional Effectiveness, Planning, and Fiscal Stewardship Council works to support a culture of continuous quality improvement at Palomar College to ensure that all students receive the opportunities and support they need to leverage their specific circumstances into a strong foundation for life-long,
resilient learning, career success, and global citizenship.

Meeting Days/Times:

The Institutional Effectiveness, Planning, and Fiscal Stewardship Council meets on 1st and 3rd Fridays from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.

Council Goals 2025-26

    1. Monitor the transparency of resource requests (personnel, initiatives) in their respective processes by facilitating communication among committees and connecting to strategic plans.
    2. Host Town Hall each semester to educate the campus community on current IEPFSC topics and evaluate the impact.
    3. Increase understanding of Student-Centered Funding Formula (SCFF) and the college’s strategic priorities, making them actionable for those working with students.
    4. Monitor the completion of the college’s Midterm Accreditation Report through participatory governance.
