Lindsay is a Registered Dietitian who has been providing nutrition counseling since 2009. She holds a Master of Science in Nutrition from Boston University where she completed her dietetic internship with Partners Healthcare Newton-Wellesley Hospital, and the Nutrition & Fitness Center at Boston University. Lindsay originally hails from Raleigh, North Carolina where she also received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management. She began her career in nutrition while in graduate school where she had the amazing opportunity to spend a summer abroad in Peru. She also spent a great part of her graduate studies working on nutrition and behavior related research studies at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver Center located in Massachusetts, as well as assisting in multiple graduate nutrition courses as a Teaching Assistant.  Lindsay has experience in a broad range of disciplines. In the past she worked as a nutritionist for the WIC program and as part of a comprehensive team of therapists and psychologists at an intensive outpatient eating disorder program. She also has experience as an inpatient dietitian at Kaiser Permanente, working with physicians, therapists, and pharmacists. She currently provides weight and disease management to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric clients as an outpatient dietitian for a community clinic in downtown San Diego. Lindsay is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, California Dietetic Association, and the San Diego Dietetic Association.  When not working or teaching, Lindsay enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, practicing yoga, running for fitness, and cooking and baking with whole foods.
