Transfer Success

Our majors have had great success in transferring to top 4-year schools in California and the rest of the nation. Take a look HERE at the directions our recent transfer students have taken.

Fall 2025 Meetings

Thursday, September 25, 4:30pm in room H-315 – Welcome back for the fall semester! Our first meeting will be a meet and greet, where we’ll plan out the rest of the semester’s meetings, and we can share some book recommendations (so come with a title or two in mind)! We’re looking forward to seeing you all! For information, check out this informational flyer.

Thursday, October 30, 4:30pm (room TBA) – This may be a more fun meeting, where we do some short creative writing activities or watch a scary movie to celebrate Halloween…TBD.

Thursday, November 13, 4:30pm (room TBA) – This meeting will likely focus on some practical issues for English majors: discussion of career paths, Q & A with a representative from the Transfer Center, etc.

Thursday, December 11, 4:30pm (location TBA) – For our final meeting of the semester, we will plan for a more social activity, probably at a local coffee house, to take a break before finals, share some book recs, and generally just enjoy our English Majors community.
