Use this table as a guide to identify which industry certifications you may substitute for specific Palomar College courses. While you may substitute a specific course(s) for degree/certificate requirements, the course substitution does not substitute the number of credits earned when completing a course. For example, if you have already earned the CompTIA A+ certification and choose to substitute the course CSNT 110 Hardware and Operating System Fundamentals with your industry certification, you will need to earn the 4 units elsewhere by taking an additional course(s) so that you meet the required minimum number of units for the degree/certificate.
The Palomar College Course Substitution/Waiver form can be found here.
