How many hours do I have to work?

Cooperative Education Units Equate to Work Hours in The Following Manner:

 60  Volunteer or 75  Paid Semester hours of Work      =    1  Unit (not offered in fall or spring)
120  Volunteer or 150  Paid Semester hours of Work   =    2 Units
180  Volunteer or 225  Paid Semester hours of Work   =    3 Units
240  Volunteer or 300  Paid Semester hours of Work   =    4 Units

Weekly hours may vary as long as the student completes the total minimum hours of employment for the number of units enrolled in.  Estimated Weekly Hours breakdown are as follows:

FULL SEMESTER – FALL/SPRING
PAID STATUS
1 unit = Not Offered
2 units = 10 hours per week
3 units = 15 hours per week
4 units = 20 hours per week

FULL SEMESTER- FALL/SPRING
VOLUNTEER STATUS
1 unit = Not Offered
2 units = 7 hours per week
3 units = 11 hours per week
4 units = 14 hours per week

8 WEEK SESSIONS- SUMMER SESSION
PAID STATUS
1 unit = 10 hours per week
2 units = 20 hours per week
3 units = 30 hours per week
4 units = 40 hours per week

8 WEEK SESSIONS- SUMMER SESSION
VOLUNTEER STATUS
1 unit = 8 hours per week
2 units = 15 hours per week
3 units = 23 hours per week
4 units = 30 hours per week
