Do I need to wear a mask at the TLC Fallbrook?
No, but it is highly recommended to wear one. Also, you need to complete the Cleared4 survey to enter the TLC Fallbrook.

How much does it cost to see a tutor?
Nothing! English and Math tutors can cost up to $50, but at the Fallbrook TLC, tutors are completely free.

What else do I need to see a tutor?
If it is your first time at the TLC, you need to fill a “Registration for Non-Credit Tutoring.” After that, you will need to sign up on the waiting list. If there is no one before you, you will receive help immediately.

How long can my tutoring session be?
For writing, 30 minutes. For math, 20 minutes.

Do I need an appointment?
No need for an appointment. We work on a first-come, first-served basis.

Can I see a tutor multiple times in a day?
Yes. For English, you can sign up for 2 sessions in a day, but you will need to wait one hour before you sign up for the second one. For Math, you can sign up for 3 sessions, but you will need to wait 45 minutes between each.

Can I get help for a class I’m taking at CSUSM?
No, we only provide tutoring for classes you are enrolled in.

Can I take exams here?
Yes. However, your teacher will need to fill a “Proctoring request” form and give us a hard copy of the exam with instruction of how to take it. You will need to leave your cellphone and your watch (if it’s an intelligent watch) at the counter and then you will take the exam. After you are done, your teacher will need to pick up the exam or request it to be sent via campus mail.
