ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE
ESL 106 - Save time, Save Money!
In this video, learn how ESL is helping students gain the skills they need to be successful in college-level writing and reading so they can start college off on the right foot. In ESL 106 (a six-unit course) students can condense two semester of ESL study into one so they can save time and save money at the beginning of their educational journey—and the course transfer as Humanities to the CSU or UC systems. In ESL 110 (a 4-unit course), ESL’s transfer-level English course for non-native speakers of English (comparable to English 100), students gain the same skills (and pre-requisites) they’d gain by completing English 100 but with the guidance and linguistic support students expect from the ESL Program.
