Catalog Description:
Techniques and theories of audio production in the preparation of a radio program. Use of audio mixing and recording equipment, editing and dubbing, microphone techniques and program construction. A program produced by the student will be broadcast on college radio station KKSM.
Informal Description:
This is a composite of a theory and production course. You learn about the radio and podcasting industry and how to pitch and produce projects. The course culminates in the production of a podcast or live radio show.
