Cesar Chavez Day of Service is on Friday, April 11 / San Marcos / 11:00 am – 4:00 pm

Students will have the opportunity to complete a service learning volunteer opportunity in a tri-campus event with CSU San Marcos and MiraCosta College. Lunch will be provided at CSU San Marcos and buses will take students to local community sites to complete a service project. Faculty are welcome to participate with their students.

This service-based event includes lunch and a keynote speaker, then transportation to a service site in North County for participants to volunteer. Students can earn 5 hours of service learning for this one-day event. More information can be found on CSUSM’s website. Advance registration will be required and will open on March 14.

Both Palomar ECE Lab Schools on the San Marcos Campus and Escondido campus now have a reduced or tuition-free* California State Preschool Program for children ages 2 1/2 – 5 years!

Enrollment for children 6 months to 5 years is open. Contact the Lab School.
