OVERVIEW

CalWORKs work study provides CalWORKs students part-time employment on campus.  Because a student is paid through a grant, their earned income is considered “exempt” and will not affect his/her cash aid.

REQUIREMENTS

A student must meet the following requirements to qualify for CalWORKs Work Study.

• Enrolled in 6 units
• Qualify for federal financial aid
• Maintain a 2.0 GPA
