Preparation for Major requirements is the term used to describe introductory courses in your major and additional supporting courses that are taken in the freshman and sophomore years.  Completing these courses is essential to transfer admission and making normal progress toward your degree.  Palomar College maintains over 400 of these course agreements. They include agreements with the University of California campuses, California State University campuses and many  California Private colleges. Copies of these agreements are available on line at ASSIST* (for CSU and UC campuses), and in limited form on California Colleges.edu for many private and independent schools.

* ASSIST is an online statewide data base containing all articulation agreements between California community colleges, the University of California and many California State Universities.  Students should become familiar with using this web site to access articulation agreements.
