SEVIS Record Release Form

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION VERY CAREFULLY:

Complete this form when you are transferring to a new school from Palomar College. You will need to upload the Acceptance letter/email from your new school (below). You will also need to complete the Last Semester Questionnaire Form before we release your SEVIS record.

International students are issued a SEVIS I-20 from the school they attend full-time. When a student wants to change full-time enrollment to a different school in the United States, their SEVIS I-20 record must be released to the new school.

The SEVIS record is only available for ONE SCHOOL at a time.

Students can request a SEVIS I-20 release once they choose which school they will attend full-time

Palomar will not release a SEVIS record until the end of the final semester of attendance

Students must provide proof of admission to new school (acceptance letter or email)

Releasing a SEVIS record is date specific. On the release date, Palomar will no longer have access to the SEVIS record.

You cannot receive a new SEVIS I-20 from the new school until the release date
