Student Wellness Advocacy Group (SWAG)

SWAG is a peer education program that promotes mental health and wellness education on campus. We are seeking students to join our team for 2026 especially those part of the Federal Work Study or DSIG program!

Federal Work Study

Federal Financial Aid Program offered at Palomar College. Students must apply and be eligible before starting employment. The award is earned through part-time employment on campus. Visit the Federal Work Study website to view the job listing (under Health Services) and program requirements. 

California Dream Act Service Incentive Grant Program (DSIG)

The California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) will award up to $4,500 per academic year (up to $2,250 per semester) to eligible California Dream Act Application (CADAA) students who perform 150 hours per semester of community or volunteer service with a Qualifying Service Organization. Students must apply annually to participate in the DSIG program.
