Purpose: Petition to exclude prior substandard course work from a student’s grade point average which is not reflective of their current demonstrated ability

Credit by Exam

Petition for Withdrawal (EW/W)
Purpose: Petition for Excused Withdrawal.
Location: Online or Records Office, SSC-55

Documentation Required: Ask at the Records Office
Student Notification: Student’s must provide documentation with Petition.
Grade Adjustment
Purpose: This form is for students that have repeated a Palomar course at another institution. Palomar courses are automatically adjusted.

Processing Timeframe: Typically 7-10 business days, up to 3 weeks during end-of-term processing
Student Notification: None, student referred to check eServices transcript
Incomplete
Purpose: Request to receive an Incomplete grade in a course due to unforeseeable, emergency, and justifiable reasons at the end of the term. The student will have 1 year to complete the missing course requirements. Failure to complete the course work will result in an F grade.

Transcript Request
(From Palomar to another school, employer, institution, etc.)
Note: Rush transcripts are available for pick up on the same day Monday – Thursday until 3:00 PM and until 2:00 PM on Friday. Any rush transcript order that is processed after this time will be available for pick up the next business day.
Purpose: Request your Palomar transcript to be sent to schools, colleges, universities, employers, or other third parties.
