Mapping Courses and Programs to College Outcomes

Course and program outcomes are mapped to the college outcomes to assist in assessment and to ensure that the curriculum adequately addresses Palomar’s college outcomes.  Use Nuventive Improve to map Course and Program outcomes to the College’s outcomes.

When considering whether or not a course or program outcome maps to a specific college outcome please apply the following.  A course or program outcome maps to a college outcome if

1. The course or program outcome supports the college outcome. AND
2. At least one of the outcome’s assessment methods could be used to assess the respective college outcome.
